Executive Director
Mike Hanson
Mike Hanson founded BCM in 2015. Prior to this, Mike was the CEO and financial planner of The Hanson Financial Group for 27 years. His previous training includes a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois, a Masters of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling from The Masters University, and ACBC certification. Mike has been married to his wife, Cara, since 2016 and together they have 5 children. Together they attend Fellowship Bible Church in Peoria, IL.
Central IL Regional Director
Chad Nightingale
Chad Nightingale has been on staff for Biblical Counseling Ministries since November 2021. His previous training includes a Bible Certificate from the Word of Life Bible Institute, a B.S. in Bible from Lancaster Bible College, a M.A. in Counseling Practical Theology from Calvary Seminary, and IABC certification. Prior to BCM, Chad was on staff at Encounter Revival Ministries and the Senior Pastor of Allegan Bible Church. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Pekin Bible Church in Pekin, IL. Chad married his wife, Tracy, in 1998 and they have three children: Charlie, Henry, and Elisabeth.

Kari Gross
Kari Gross has been on staff for Biblical Counseling Ministries since March 2022. Her previous training includes a Masters of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary and ACBC certification. Prior to BCM, Kari worked as a sign language interpreter and elementary education teacher. Kari married her husband, Brett, in 2013, and they have four children: Noelle, Tripp, Aden, and Theo. Together they attend Immanuel Baptist Church in Bloomington, IL.
Church Care Partner
Kent Kloter
Kent Kloter joined Biblical Counseling Ministries in January 2023, serving as Church Care Partner. Kent began full-time in the ministry of biblical SoulCare™ in 1999 and became ACBC certified in 2009. Kent and his wife, Janell, have been a part of the Bethany Fellowship of Churches since 2006 and have been members at Bethany Community Church in Washington, IL since it was planted in 2008. Kent retired in April of 2023 from his role as elder and Pastor of Biblical Counseling at Bethany Community Church. Kent and Janell married in 1977 and have three married children and 13 grandchildren.

Christi Thach
Christi has been on staff for Biblical Counseling Ministries since March 2023. She previously received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology majoring in Family Studies from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has been supporting biblical SoulCare™ in her church and the area since 2016. Christi married her husband, Keith, in 1998 and they have two children: Brandon and Brody. Keith and Christi reside outside of Knoxville, TN and both attend Fellowship North.
Chief Operating Officer
Keith Thach
Keith joined Biblical Counseling Ministries in March 2024. Prior to joining BCM, Keith spent 29 years working for a global Fortune 500 company where he led a variety of both business and systems transformations including the creation of an industry leading, internal customer experience program. Keith holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration in Logistics & Transportation from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Keith has personally experienced the benefits of biblical SoulCare™ and desires for others to experience such through their local church.
Supervising & Lead Counselor
Rosie Pierson
Rosie Pierson has been on staff at Biblical Counseling Ministries since 2019 where she currently serves as a Supervising Counselor and Counselor. Prior to BCM, Rosie counseled and led trainings at Biblical Counseling of Arizona, counseled at the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Mesa, Arizona and her local church. Rosie received her ACBC Certification in 2011. As well as serving with BCM she is currently the Assistant Biblical Counselor at her church. Her desire is to see lives changed through the power of God’s Word. Rosie has been married to her husband, Don, since 1975, they have two sons and two grandchildren. Together they attend Living Hope Community Church in Bartonville, IL.

Paul Wildermuth
Paul Wildermuth has been on staff for Biblical Counseling Ministries since 2018. Paul has worked full-time as a design and test engineer at Precision Planting since 2014. He has experience counseling in local churches, prisons, juvenile detention centers, and youth camps while also having received training at Biblical Soul Care and his ACBC certification. Paul married his wife, Carrie, in 2013 and they have two children. Together they attend New Castle Bible Church in Mackinaw, IL.

Ben Holman
Ben Holman has been on staff for Biblical Counseling Ministries since summer of 2020. Ben has worked full-time as a Physician Assistant in Orthopedic Surgery since 2006, served in the Army National Guard since 2014, and is the Director of Biblical Counseling at New Castle Bible Church. His previous training includes his medical education at Butler University, a Masters of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling from The Masters University, and ACBC certification. Ben has been married to his wife, Ailey, since 2006 and together they have 6 children. Together they attend New Castle Bible Church in Mackinaw, IL.

Julie Wieland
Julie Wieland has been on staff for Biblical Counseling Ministries since February 2021. Her previous training includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Law Enforcement from Western Illinois University and ACBC Certification. Julie has experience working for DCFS, the Emergency Response Service doing crisis intervention, and counseling within local churches in the Peoria area. Julie is married to her husband, John, and they have four children. Together they attend Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, IL.
